I mean, with ME270, my statics class, it works, because the lecture videos are literally 5-10 minutes long as promised (some even shorter, but they are concise and to the point). And what we do in class is actually nice, because the professor actually does examples. The textbook is a MESS though for this class; like the few HW problems I had to do in the past week have been a nightmare as numbers don't add up AT ALL. Honestly, the day 110 + 70 = 100, I'm going to die.

But with my ECE201 class? In class, he just throws us a problem and makes us do it, without really a prior example. He does go over it afterwards, but eh. And his videos are quoted to be 5-10min long, but so far I've seen like one video under 10 minutes. And what's worse? Oh, 8 videos for Tuesday, all over 10 minutes long. I fucking started at noon, and it's 2. I basically spent 2 hours watching these videos. For one class that's 1 hour and 15 minutes long. I spent more time on the lecture videos than the length of the class. And he goes REALLY fast in these videos. Though the single video for Thursday is only 13 minutes long, but it covers a much more complex topic (versus the review shit for Tuesday).

Wait 'til further in the semester - once reviewing shit is done and it might drop back down to his promised 5 minutes. :)

My one problem is that Gencon is 10-ish hours from me. I'd have to save a lot of money to go to it, especially since I wouldn't have anyone to split costs for a hotel room.

I need to get better at make/saving money....

Really? That would make things a lot easier. Though I'd still have to drop $300+ on a flight probably....

Hm, well, I live an hour to an hour and a half (to really two hours depending on where is your destination) from Indy. It takes a good hour to get the airport from where I live. xD So I don't know if it's the most convenient. And I would probably only go for one day, if I went, probably Saturday, because then I can just hitch a ride with my mom or something. So... I can't really say for anything else, but the baseline is, I'm fine with guests at my house. xDD
