Then it is a Drivers issue.

Safe Mode doesn't boot drivers, only uses basic drivers.

Yeah, Catalyst black screened in the middle of installing drivers and like a stupid fuck I shut down my computer.

Turns out you're supposed to let it sit for two hours then shut it off. If only I knew now what I knew then.

You're not useless. It would probably be a while before I can go though too, at least two years. I probably would be able to drive by then, so I could get a rental car at the airport and use that to get to the con. There being no trains isn't that big a deal.

No idea how much rental cars cost per day though.

Catalyst uses a driver to check what your system is.

It's impossible to install things with Catalyst in safe mode.

Just I need an actual stable version of it.

That almost worked. Except that it still needs a driver to find the things that I need to uninstall.
