Ok, you may have a point, but none of us have bashed Yoshino, I'm pretty sure most of us at least kinda like her. So it's unfair to attack Touma like that. That's lowering yourself to the Yoshino-Basher's level.

Who doesn´t ? ( Yeah, I know there are those who see pretty much every Dub Change as superior to the Original, but we leave out those Jerks ).

That's unfair too. We (People who like dubs) are not jerks just because we like dubs. Even I don't agree with every dub change, but I don't let it get in the way of my viewing. Saying something like that is very offensive, and is just asking to start a flame war.

They ( BOA/Toei America/Disnesy ) seem to be a bit chaotic in the naming aspect anyways.

On the subject of the soul thing...why is it a problem? The only way I could possibly think that someone would find it offensive is on a religious level. I was raised Jewish and I was taught that I have a soul, as were the Christians that I know. Is it because the soul is said to be digital, and that is "blasphemous" to some people? I know that Disney above all companies does not ever want to offend anyone, but I thought that teaching how to strengthen your own soul was overall a good, moral lesson.

I have no idea. I'm Christian, and I'm certaintly not offended at the mention of someone's soul. I can't really imagine anyone getting offended by a cartoon talking about a soul, but then again, in this day and age...I dunno, maybe it depends on the context.

How about not changing it at all ? Things would be so much easier if there were not such changes, which are all unneccesary anyways.

Actually, that is so untrue. Hmm what example can I use? Ah yes, Deathnote. Deathnote has hardly any changes at all (from what I read anyway). And what happened to it? Check the six o'clock news because a kid brought his own deathnote to school and started writing in it. Now, let's think logically here. If a kid copied what he saw on deathnote, went to school and started doing what was on it, he got punished and deathnote nearly got banned.

Let's take that concept to Digimon...something which was change...ah yes, Agumon kicking Masaru in the groin....let's say a kid saw that, decided it would be a good idea to go to school and kick his friends in the groin because he saw it on a cartoon because it was "cool."

Christians already hate anime which is only DVD release and uncut...imagine what happens when they show uncut anime on TV for all the free viewing pleasure. Bye bye, Digimon.

At least they try to keep things as close as possible. Be happy they arent spreading jokes out of their ears like no tomorrow. And Yoshino is not "dumb in pink." I hardly doubt her english voice actor would allow such sexism to the character she is voicing. For a Yoshino fan to insult Yoshino just because they change her voice, you're not much of a Yoshino fan at all.

I for one, can say that I have experienced Japanese culture, and it's not as great as you seen in anime. Anime is just anime, it doesnt show every aspect of a culture. I for one, can say that I have experienced Japanese culture, and it's not as great as you seen in anime. Anime is just anime, it doesnt show every aspect of a culture. If you want proof, I can give it to you.

so back onto the topic, IMO keenan sounds dodgy, and he keeps saying humons. I'm surprised they kept so much of Touma's past in ep 15, all I notice that was cut was Touma crying at her death bed, and maybe a bit of her body after the crash, I thought they would have just made something stupid up like his mom got ill when they were at the fair. I guess it wouldn't have the same impact though.

Like it was said before, they try to retain as much as they can in the original. Besides, Sam's death, anyone? They still kept that, so why wouldnt they keep the mother's death too?

Well when Sam died, the show was under the control of a different network, one that actually had the guts the keep that in... if it was any other network or dubber, they probably would have put him in a coma or something (Like what i was expecting them to do with the mother... man that was a surprise, that they didnt )

Different network, still the same people. Frontier was on a different network too, and they only cut out two or three things, that's it.

Hmm wonder why they would cut out the hospital scene.... <_< guess Disney doesnt like hospitals or something.... lol

I suppose I have to agree with Lunamonzero as fox always seemed to keep most of the stuff from the original, and I'm not sure I could say that for frontier (never watched the original).

And Izumi did take down the Human *and* Beast Spirit of a Legendary Warrior in the same fight *without* the benefit of Double-Spirit Evolving.

I think in Savers, the level difference doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Masaru and the others have been known to take some suicidal risks with Megas.

Don't forget how strong Piximon was.

Well was there wasnt anything that was really that bad to begin with was there, other that the magical nudity and Sexy Dynamite? i never got a chance to see the sub of the original except for a few, but from what i could tell there wasnt really stuff that was bad enough to be changed was there?
