Crash And Burn
Yay 4 Spring!~
I hope Megaman 9 is on the PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii. Then owners of the consoles could play the game on the system(s) mentioned above

While I'm pretty certain about the source of a few Mega Man-related leaks (sorry leaker, given where the information goes, it was obvious), I can say absolutely the Shadow is not a beta tester. Someone who saw the game early, yes, but beta tester is a failed attempt to cover his (yes, his) real identity.
As Sven said, we don't have "beta testers" here.
From the Nintendo Power article, "in Plug Man's stage you'll have to deal with shadowy Mega Man clones that emerge when you walk past certain walls." I hope we'll eventually get a more complete idea on why the shadowy Mega Man clones are emerging from certain walls, but I've little doubt that this is what the picture is depicting.

Well, Sony has never liked any 2D games to begin with and having a "NES game" like MM9 being released in the same console that has Metal Gear Solid 4 seems almost like an insult to Sony (as well as Microsoft).Tcatomon;61456 said:I keep hearing rumors that Sony (and possibly Microsoft), don't want such a low-tech new game on their systems. Can anyone back me up on that?

You can't use a shitty wiki like that as a source.Tcatomon;60737 said:1. "Even though Model A seems to have extremely similar traits with Axl, it was created by Master Albert as a back-up system for himself, similar to his "dummy body" seen in the game prior to the final levels. This is why it is named Model A(lbert). As such, Model A has no confirmed relation to X-series character Axl. It is possible that Albert had based designs on Model A from information about Axl without actually downloading his AI and consciousness to it, or that Albert did indeed somehow retrieve his data to make Model A, but for some reason did not want to admit to doing so. This issue may have something to do with the disputed canon between games made after MMX5 and the MMZero/ZX series. If Model A truly has nothing to do with Axl, his similar attacks and appearance may simply be a tribute to the character. "

You greatly underestimate the fanbase that Capcom has been alienating for years.tricky77puzzle;60742 said:So, I have a question that's... kinda off-topic to this one: why did Capcom all of a sudden decide to continue the original series when it hasn't worked on it for 10 years and has gone on to bigger and better things, like say, Ryuusei?
EDIT: Please don't kill me.
Those are MM9 screenshots scanned from August's Nintendo Power. RPM is a good source of regurgitated information.Tcatomon;60759 said:More bits and pieces!

Can someone more familiar with Classic tell me if those screenshots from RPM are from existing games? One of the levels looks like Toadman's.
