I was rude & obnoxious, but I like to think I'm more self aware of things like that. It's not just diet that's to blame, anyway. It's lifestyle. Most Americans are too sedentary. I, unlike most of them, exercise enough to balance out the crap I eat, & I eat whatever I want. McDonald's is delicious; I enjoy it quite often, but I'm 5'11" & 170 pounds, which seems pretty decent to me.Tcatomon;64245 said:Americans are fat because they lack the willpower to eat healthy and most are spoiled and lazy, it's not because they can afford it. Walk by a McDonalds sometime and see how many people waddle in the door. Money has nothing to do with it...It's the idea of convince. Even the "healthy" meals in fast food restaurants are laced with sugars to keep them from rotting on the counters. I've worked in food service for two years. North Americans are pigs, I'm sorry to say >_> (They're also rude and obnoxious).

But seriously, it is just convenience.
