Do you mean DATS? Yeah, thinking of the fact that it was an English acronym in the first place...

The best thing about the German version: they just sat back and made a high quality dub without the big fuss Jeff Nimoy made about it. But that's just my opinion.

ok, I like the German Dub, Agumon have the same voice how in Adventure, but it's a good voice, we have Digisoul, I had all the time think at "Digiseele" (Seele is the German word for Soul) or like in the Us version DNA but it's the best choice^^

Only Satsuma & Kudamon have terrible voices, Masaru aren't really angry, but maybe it's in the next episodes better

And I like the German songs, the japanese are better but our are not bad! The 15sec. Ending is bad, a German One Star Dub song would be better...

But the best is, the complete episode are uncut^^ I had think it has cuts, because all animes at RTL2 in the last time have terrible cuts...

As a Info, Gaomon will say "Ja, Meister" what the translation from Yes Master is

The problem: "Palmon evolves to Togemon" would be translated as "Palmon entwickelt sich zu Togemon weiter" or at least "Palmon entwickelt sich zu Togemon". Otherwise it wouldn't sound natural. So "digitieren" comes in quite handy. And it's not totally made up. It's most likely a mix between "digital" and "konvertieren" (convert) or something like that. ^^

I guess they thought:

-flying
-partnered with a Girl

Now if Sunflwomon sounds like Birdramon and Lilamon like Garudamon, I will either cry or laugh, or perhaps cry because I laughed so hard.

I think the voices of Lilamon and Rosemon are quite easy for an experienced voice actress (girly and sexy female voice shouldn't be that difficult). I think when she can handle Birdramon and Garudamon, those two won't be a problem for her. (And Sunflowmon... Dunno...)

So the opening is, let's face it, pretty bad. I usually love German songs as much as, if not more than, the Japanese, but not this. It sounds very flat.
The evolution song is great though, definitely added to the roster of awesome German songs.

Think of that: Digimon is not very popular here and a lot so called Digimon Fans principly diss everything that is not Adventure.

Well, atleast the German OP is better than the US one and the unneccesary changes of that version are also left out.

Being a big Palmon fan I'd love it... Nevertheless it's not bad to give the "plant" a new dimension. But I will say more about this when I actually heard Lilamon talking.

Good thing is that we don´t have to wait 16 weeks for that. I wonder if other Digimon will also have some familiar voices.
