Dark Rockman only have one emotion, it's Darkness
His emotion window will never change

A darkness emotion with great amount of power but sometimes even Megabuster cannot fire at all.

No, the Darkness emotion that Dark Rockman has, doesn't flashing
Thus, no such glitch

But, if you use a Dark Chip directly, it will go flashing
And the glitch happens

So, just use Dark Chips for maintaining Rockman to keep on Dark

The dark chip will appear when Rockman's emotion turn something like hopeless.

One more thing, it seems the battle network 5 is the same with battle network 4 when want to use dark chips.

Dark Chip only appears when the emotion is anxious

No, in BN 4, We can't freely choose a Dark chip that we wanted
There are only 2 dark chips that can be selected in Custom Window
Only appears when Rockman is anxious
The Dark chips change every turn as long as Rockman is still anxious

While in BN 5, you can use Dark chips as one of the chips in your folder
You can load up to 3 Dark Chips in your folder
Thus, it can appear anytime, when you open the Custom Window

I don't know about this, but
In BN 5, when you are using Dark Rockman,
The probability of Dark chip to be appeared in your Custom Window, is increased

Forgot to say about this, when I playing rockman's emotion turns to anxious the darkchip appeared straight away in the next turn of battle network 5.

In BN 5, anxious only make you can't do Unisons

Though i've load up 3 Dark Chips in my folder
But when Rockman goes anxious,
Sometimes Dark Chips appear, but not everytime
