I am getting my Platinum tomorrow! It was supposed to arrive today, but I wasn't there to sign it off, so it wasn't delivered. I will be home tomorrow so I can finally play it.

EDIT: WTF. I got another Platinum version which I've ordered in Japan. One from PlayAsia and other from Itouyokado... Made roms from Platinum.

Dub Names:

Torn World = Distortion World
Pluto = Charon
Handsome = Looker

US Release Date = March 22, 2009

I was actually talking with a friend about this today. We concluded that Pluto got renamed because Pluto is no longer a planet. ;-;

Circuit City (who posted the spoilers that Serebii got) has now removed the Platinum advertisement. Thus, any information provided by them (to me) is questionable.

Charon? As in Boatman of the River Styx Charon? As in badass second-strongest summon with chance of insta-death in GS2 Charon?

...I think I may LIKE that name change! Gives pokemon a slightly darker feel!

Handsome and Looker pretty much mean the same, so no issues there...

I think Distorted World would fit better than Distortion World, but that's just me.

Anywho, I look forward to seeing if it actually becomes confirmed, or what the actual names will be, should they be proven false.

The press release is now from Nintendo of America out and release date is 22nd March 09

In addition, the dub name, Distortion World, was conformed. Also,

Battle Recorder = VS Recorder
Wi-Fi Square = Wi-Fi Plaza
Global Terminal = Global Terminal
Giratina Origin Form = Giratina Origin Forme

were all conformed dub names given out in the press conference.

To me, "Battle Recorder" sounds cooler than "VS Recorder". Bad move on their part, as far as I'm concerned.
