give me a bit time to think of a text
I blasphemed Harry Potter. Apparently he really likes Harry Potter.

I apogolize in advance, but today I saw both: the orginal end and the following video... And I think, the later one would´ve been a "better end for Harry Potter" xD"

The epilogue in the book gave too sweet an ending to the books, and if the movie follows that, by default the will too.

If you're going to make an ending stick with someone, the best way is to give the reader/viewer something traumatic. The easiest way is to kill characters. Major ones. Like Hermione, Ron, and/or Ginny (please note I have nothing against any of them, I just would have preferred a more memorable finish).

The best method is what blade calls fattening the sacrificial character. You start the story with one extra (or in blade's case, four.) character and devote equal amounts of development to them all. Then kill one of them at the end. Bonus points for assigning a number to each of them then rolling a dice, first person whose number shows up on the die gets to die. That way no can predict their death.
