It's a different look, which will take some time to get used to. Otherwise, I'm looking forwards to seeing how different the new software is!

It seems quite a bit faster page-load wise. Which is nice since my internet is fail lately (random d/c) If a page isn't loading, I know it's my end now :3

I wouldn't say minimalistic, but it sure looks a hell lot cleaner than vB (at least HTML-wise).

Any specific reason we didn't get rid of the ugly /index.php?

I would say minimalistic, at least in terms of the postbit. We have the avatar, username, and a title... nothing else. Here's what the old one had:
Username, Avatar, Title, and on the right:

Yep! It's got some cool social media stuff... though the tweet button is an extra I added.

Yep! We're gonna wait for the template system to stablize before developing any of our own.
