If a movie was made out of RnR 3, the RnR movies would be out of sequence.
Unless by movie you are refering to Anime...

well, it doesn`t really matter right whenever they want to make the movie later or not. Maybe the make movie first like "megaman battle network : light & darkness program" and then they make anime ver later on.
Which the story doesn`t have any relationship with the season before(in this case become ova or something like that). But i hope they make a really good one if they tend to do so.
