I think the Rockman Concept art pics were aborted because they didn't feel exactly Rockman-ish...

But in all honesty, Ryuusei no Rockman doesn't feel Rockman-ish either.

I get the feeling they didn't go with any of those concepts because in the two-handed sketches Subaru looks evil, and in the one-handed ones War-Rock does.
