Misora vs. Luna

Looking at the history of the games (not the anime) this is how i see it.

Battle network and the original megaman series (which has progressed to the point of the X and zero years) seem to play out the same in terms of concepts. I.E megaman and roll both fight together, protoman is rogue and is also sort of rogue IN THE GAME of battle network. Bass in both timelines is constantly after megaman (although he seems to forget every time you meet him in game). Iris and Colonel are still brother and sister and in BN 6 a lot of original ideas were incorporated into the explanation of how they were created and related. Even zero was included in the battle network series but was extremly underpowered and appeared in Network Transmission for the Gamecube (quite unpopular) as a virus. Dr.light (if my memory serves me well) is represented as grandpa Hikari who worked along side Wily (who in the battle network series is perfectly equivalent to the one in the original series) and who's inventions also correspond with that of the original series e.g. the light program and Megaman himself. The idea of souls really comes from the idea that in the original series upon beating a boss you got one of their skills and when you had them equipped your colour would change.

so no doubt they would do the same when making starforce in order to keep a sence of legacy? the ideas that this is true in the case of battlenetwork to star force is as followed:

Lan's net navi was megaman - Geo resembles Lan in physical appearance and can wave change with omega-xis to become megaman.

in battle network Megaman fought along side roll (aswell as Gutsman etc...) who's operator was Mayl - Harpnote happens to be the only other "good" FM-ian that fights along side Megaman and is arguably the roll of megaman starforce and in human form is Sonia who also arguably resembles Mayl (more so in terms of personality aswell).

One of Lan's friends was Yai the spoilt rich girl who skipped a couple years because she was so clever, nothing of importance to do with the actual story line - Luna is the same concept, rich, spoilt, smart (yet blonde ) but of course has her own unique qualities (but that can be said for Sonia aswell)

Lan married Mayl at the end of BN 6 in a scene that was meant to be the future - [future input required from starforce series]

if you see the pattern ive pointed you will know whats going to be put in those brackets. To those who say in game Geo does also fight for Luna i say Lan always fought for his friends aswell so? To those who say this is just a theory you cant prove anything i say yes it is just a theory but considering it is theres a hell of alot of proof supporting my view and then again thats really all we have to work on, theorys and opinions.

Friendship is the same but the others......maybe.

Finally, I LOVE Luna's hair. I don't see how people can blame her hairstyle on the basis of that makes her not right for Subaru. I hate Misora's hair, for example. I think it's incredibly ugly and an ugly hair cut. It also looks bad no matter how she styles it because she has a stupid face to go with her stupid hair which merges with her loser personality, okay? -- Don't start flaming me over this, I'm just parodying over what everybody has been saying about Luna. I don't see how she's power hungry at all. It's not like she makes everybody in the school do stuff for her. She has her three friends (That includes Subaru) and that's all there is to it.

Also, Luna is no longer merged with Ophiuchus, thus saving, but moving on,
I don't find Luna annoying. I think they did do a bad job at putting her personality into an anime, but she isn't half bad and I'm sick of people just looking at the anime and assuming how much she was in the game, especially as she supports Subaru as well in it after a certain point (It actually starts before she learns he's Rockman btw). She had a lot of character in the game unlike Misora who I just want to punch in the face. I would just love to see her fall and crack her head open.

And no, it's not because I support Luna and Subaru. I disliked her before that point. The fact that I do suppot them now does add to my dislike for her however.

But I'm not going to bother posting in this topic anymore. I'm SICK of people being narrow-minded and only reading what they want to read. Also, I don't think Luna ever tried, she just wanted to stop her parents if anything. And Ophiuchus was kind of killed before they could really be friends anyway >_> So yeah, it's not like we got to see that. And again, the anime did a horrible job with the whole Luna-Ophiuchus thing (Plus, the fact that Luna was able to overpower her at times did say something).

So that's it, I'm done, because I'm sick of the assumptions and of people being narrow-minded jerks. If you have anything to say, reflect it all, don't just pick things that don't make sense on it's own or that you just assume you know what you're talking about because it's just a dumb thing to do.

Not only that, yeah, so Misora looks like Mayl and there's the whole Roll thing, but remember, Mayl =/= Roll. She just has the Net Navi. Continuing with that, from what I've heard, Luna does a lot more in the game than what Yai ever did. There are other changes too.

2. I just thought I'd say more, after all, you did say Yai didn't do much, but the only thing about Luna was that she has different qualities.
3 and 4. You're saying from the beginning. The first few games, Roll technically was Megaman's/Rockman's sister and they weren't paired up, so I'm saying it really isn't a legacy unless it started out with incest.
5. It's not so much standards as it came out as "I support so and so because it's obvious it'll happen because of so and so other games and you're just wasting your time"

But remember, I asked why people liked the shipping, so explain to me, what do you like about it? And that means things out of theory.

Misora has nothing to do with Roll and it is not true for support with such simple reason. You should ask yourself first why you become a shipper and the answer will come to you.

I just wanna say that both of them are really suitable

More, Luna cares so much about Subaru on the very first epis
It may looks like she just wanna get some points as a Class President
But by seeing that she accompany Subaru to the new planetarium, and make a bunch of notes for him, i think she has something in his mind other than just wanna get some points to achieve the Student Council President

And, in Subaru's side, like i said again, his face always turned red and become shy when his mother tease him to say about his feelings on Luna
Means, he also has some feeling for Luna

I want to remember people abou the fact that all the personalitys in starforce are mirrored in comparision to BN (or at least turned upside down). And Starforce was meant to break free from the chains of previous games thats why no character is named roll, and the only .....man is megaman.

Ryuusei is very different from the past Rockman series. No -mans and such.

When I first saw the anime and played the game I thought Luna was the "Roll/Merieu". Then Misora was shown and was the only other person that could do Denpa-Henkan on her own freewill, that means nothing. Just means she can fight along side Rockman or get rid of random Denpa Viruses that get in to her concerts.

We're talking about just the Human sides of everyone, not the Denpa-Nigens. (EM Wave Human). Since Ryuusei is practically a new generation of Rockman and not meant to be anything with the previous I'm sure that means Luna is the one who will end up with Subaru.

ive seen alot of Ophiucus Queen vs harp note debate but really imo Ophiucus Queen > harp note unfortunatly you have to keep in mind this was a one off in both the anime and the game, she came, she became Ophiucus Queen and then she was beaten, no point in debating if she cant even use denpa henkan anymore. Lunas hair, not really a point but it still is....unique....ok its bad but ye and i still think starforce has heavy influence from battle network, people seem to think extreme similarity but thats not the case because influence is different.

ie. the debate of who the roll is of the series how some people thought it was Luna based on the fact that she was first to appear and shes blonde. Fact is harp note is pretty much the roll by influence in the sence that she fights along side megaman. She only turned on him in RnR 2 because its just the games way of making an excuse for you to battle her so they can distribute her battle cards etc...

Geo clearly resembles Lan please try not to argue otherwise even though by saying this you probably will.

However with EM wave change Geo is on the roads himself along with omega-xis.

theres loads more but i cant be bothered to post, this is just my opinion but i still believe they need to keep certain aspects that keep the series intact despite being a whole new era on its own i mean they have done 20 or so megaman games before this, starting fresh fresh would be a tad ridiculous why not make an entirely different game.

Yeah, it draws heavily on Battle Network. However, the characters are different.

Misora is a young singing prodigy whose mother died and has a money grubbing manager for her legal guardian (no mention of her father). Mayl lived a sheltered life surrounded by her parents and was basically your normal average girl.
Subaru is an anti-social (until the end) boy who lost his father in an accident. Lan (Netto just sounds funny D: ) lived with both his parents, and had a positive attitude towards everything. He had plenty of friends and Megaman.
No mention of Gona or Kizamaro.
Hell, even Rock is different. War-Rock is a smart-aleck, fierce, stubborn alien. Rockman was a helpful, friendly, "Time to get up Lan! Don't forget to do your homework!" older brother type navi. (Well, he was actually his brother, but you get what I mean.)

Well... I wanted to comment, but I'll pass, since what I wanted to write was deleted mysteriously. Also, this place is becoming a Phoenix-Wright-esque courtroom, what with all the objections and stuff......

Anyway, now for the cheese.

*RnR2 Spoilers regarding Misora turning to Empty's side*

First of all, YES, I have the game. And I completed the storyline. If you want to know more, PM me and I'll tell you.















Right. Here goes nothing......

After defeating Bly for the first time, he summons forth a black hole, sucking in everyone, meaning Misora, Gonta, Kizamaro and Luna. Luna was saved by chance when Subaru extended his hand into the hole. Subaru gets depressed over the loss of his friends.

Gradually, Subaru and... Luna find the rest in the order Kizamaro, Gonta then Misora being the last. Kizamaro gets a lead on Misora's whereabouts and Subaru follows it. Following Harp Note's trail, Subaru enters the Bermuda Labyrinth Denpa area. Seeing Subaru, Misora asks him to turn back. When he doesn't, Misora forces him to go back, firing a Shock Note.

Subaru gets depressed yet again.

With Bly's training complete, with his brand new Denpa Barrier and Bly Sword, Subaru has to battle him in a battle which cannot be won.(Infinite Denpa Barrier) Just as Subaru was to get deleted, Misora saves him and he finds himself on the Kodama town Wave Road. Here, Misora tells him that she's on Empty's side, telling him not to ask her to come back.

Subaru gets depressed AGAIN.

Finally, with Luna's... Encouragement, Subaru is determined to get Misora to come back, and goes back to the Bermuda Labyrinth. When she realizes that Subaru won't turn back that easily this time, she resorts to force, meaning you have to battle her.(1600 hp is alot for a first version, if I remember correctly.) After you deeat her, she explains that Empty threatened to attack Subaru if she didn't cooperate, and would also allow her to escape from the black pit.

Misora then asks Subaru to defeat Empty, who is at the end of the Bermuda Labyrinth. When he steps into the labyrinth, all he sees is pitch black void. Misora summons a shady Denpa and asks him to guide the way out. Throughout the labyrinth, Misora assists you, giving you helpful, important clues. They help ALOT. Seriously. Lastly, at the end, you have to battle Empty and Bly EX. Exhausted from the 2 battles, Phantom Black cuts in and steals the Oopart Subaru has, presenting it to Orihime, causing the rise of the Muu continent, from within the sea.

The End.

Yeah, it draws heavily on Battle Network. However, the characters are different.

Misora is a young singing prodigy whose mother died and has a money grubbing manager for her legal guardian (no mention of her father). Mayl lived a sheltered life surrounded by her parents and was basically your normal average girl.
Subaru is an anti-social (until the end) boy who lost his father in an accident. Lan (Netto just sounds funny D: ) lived with both his parents, and had a positive attitude towards everything. He had plenty of friends and Megaman.
No mention of Gona or Kizamaro.
Hell, even Rock is different. War-Rock is a smart-aleck, fierce, stubborn alien. Rockman was a helpful, friendly, "Time to get up Lan! Don't forget to do your homework!" older brother type navi. (Well, he was actually his brother, but you get what I mean.)

Luna isn't quite a fangirl. At first, she thinks of Rockman/Megaman as her "knight in shining armor". She then finds out Subaru is Rockman, but her feelings don't go away. She still retains the image in her mind, and I guess she still has those feelings. (Gradually) She('ll) like(s) Subaru for who he is.

Secondly, about Harp Note vs Ophiucus Queen, and about Harp Note being stronger. Well, of course you'd say Misora. But you all forgot that Misora transforms at will, at her own will, unlike Luna. If Luna and Ophiucus actually cooperated, I bet they'd be hard to beat.

Lastly, using hair as a point? HAIR? HAIR? That's gonna be a hard argument to back up.
