Whattttttt. I realize this is a button mashing game and button mashing game frequently tests the limits of construction, but DAMN.

I feel like I should buy the new 3DS before I play Smash now, because I'm in general not gentle to my controller when it comes to fighting games, and hopefully they'll have stronger pads on those.

WAIT. What if this was Nintendo's plan all along? To release a new 3DS alongside smash, but not have the control pad on the old 3DS be able to withstand the people trying to play it?
