Talking about Mario and Luigi, I remembered that there is a Touhou picture. Probably, Mario is red and Luigi is green, then in Touhou, the author use the two shrine maidens to replace Mario and Luigi. The two shrine maidens are Reimu and Sanae, and there is an "R" on Reimu's hat and an "S" on Sanae's hat.
