Wha wha what? Since when do they talk when you select them?

If you use the Wii Mote and choose a character they say something. You hear it in the little speaker in the Wii Mote.

I finally got to play Brawl. I haven't got to use many of the hidden chars yet but so far I like Lucas the best with Pit and Metaknight really close. I wanna try Toon Link and Sonic and maybe Snake. Hmmm
