I see... It's nice to have the privilege to use a graphing calculator.
We had only one unit of this in my high school, and students are not allowed to use it. Only demonstration by maths teacher.
Hm, yes, I am quite proud of that fact.

But, yeah, usually you would have to buy your own graphing calculator. My Calc teacher did have a class set, but usually he doesn't have any batteries for them.
Otherwise, yeah, he does demonstrations on the graphing calculators
and let's the students follow along with their own calculators. Basically, it's to the point where if you don't have a graphing calculator in by the time you're in Calculus (at least at my high school), you need to get one. A friend of mine tried going through the class with a scientific; didn't work out too well. And to think that my brother used a slide-rule on his AP test!
