Well... I dunno I just have a feeling that they wouldn't kill off a main character that easily, but then again, considering this is a show that blade likes, they probably did kill off a main character that easily.
But besides that point, Eren mentioned that the giant kyojin had intelligence. And the abnormal one in episode 7 clearly showed types of intelligence. I DUNNO I JUST HAVE A BAD FEELING?
