The kanji in the second one are kinda blurry, but it looks like the counter for flat objects (cards, pictures, pieces of paper, etc.) so it would just mean "4" and "9" of something flat.

I think you're right. The game is called The Cameraman. The guy goes on snapping photos of different objects. So this must mean the number of 'special' photos taken.
