    I think "norma" means something like "task" or "assignment" or "objective."

    Perhaps the one on top doesn't real "Norma", but "Ba-re-ma"?... Just a suggestion. But I guess "Norma" makes the most sense. I think it's supposed to be "normal".

    "ba" would require the two dots on the top right. If you meant that, it would be "ha".

    "norma" is something of the norm, which is regarded as normal or typical. (source: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/norma)

    As for the second one... I got most of the katakana down except I'm not sure what the first one is.

    The second pic's first katakana is su.
    Thus, stereo. and mono.

    Oh.. thanks a lot.

    I should at least memorize those phrases. They're quite common in the options menu I guess.
