I'm surprised I missed this topic. Everyone probably knows how I'm a fan of some Japanese groups/artists. My current favorites, though, are:

B'z and Wada Kouji must have fallen from the same, decaying tree, as they are both the worst Japanese artists ever.
Anyway, my favorites are Shiina Ringo and her band Tokyo Jihen. They're all I need; all I want. I just can't help it.
SOIL&"PIMP" Sessions is really good as well. They don't sing, but they are the kings of jazz.

Asian Kung Fu Generation and Bump of Chicken are pretty good as well, even though they both have that generic Jrock sound
