Digimon General News Thread

Wow... compared with Rockman, this place has really died...

What we need is to find a way to bring it back to life, and what better than a General News and Updates thread! I think the rockman forum has like THREE of them, one for Network, and (oddly) two for Robotics...

So, why don't we give one a shot? Any news or rumors on upcoming digimon projects are welcome here! Discussions are encouraged! Ranting on how your digimon team is vastly superior, or how one digimon could so take on any other digimon, will earn you a ruthless beating with the BANHAMMER.

And if anyone asks a question in this topic that can be answered on GameFAQs, it is everyone else's job to rub their face in the mud. Lately, the only chatter here has seemed to be stuff related to this, and I think vets and regulars alike agree they're sick of it... Also, do keep in mind that this isn't for fansub or scanlation project, but rather official announcements and the like.

Imagine the surprise when I logged into Adventure in Anime this morning and saw that Jeff had posted the new Data Squad schedule for October including all the dub names up to the last episode.

Here's the rest of the TV schedule for Digimon Data Squad on Toon Disney. I'm pretty sure all times are Eastern Time, USA, but check your local listings for changes ~ Jeff

Anywho, seems like Data Squads gonna be coming to a close, eh Vande? I wonder... will they ever release a non-censored version on DVD...?

...Probably not, since they don't think that we fans care... *sighs*

Digimon World Championship is indeed out on the 26th it's been on preorder at various places for a while.

Sadly, yes... The second we see a 'World' needlessly added to the title, we know it'll be brought over...

Out of curiosity, how long did it take after the end of Frontier for Savers to be announced? In Japan, that is...

Frontier ended in Japan in 2003 and we found out about Savers at the end of 2005 me thinks so thats 2 yearsish.

If we are to hear anything about a new series it should be revealed at Jump Festa (around December time)

Its not a new...But it doesnt fit anywhere else (i think XD)... I was searching some old stuff and i found my Digimon 02 sticker album *happy* I found the Digimon Adventure album too,but i didnt scan it :p After those 2,we didnt bring the albums for the next 2 seasons..
*under the Digimon logo it says "New Series" in the yellow bubble-thing*
