I will scream at every single little thing that is wrong with it.
But hockey.
Though I feel like no one will ever do it because standard team is 20-23 people.
Too many characters to write.
Also, animating skating would probably be more difficult....
Because movement is drastically different for skating compared to most other things....

Yep. In Volleyball you're allowed to hit the ball with any part of your body as long as it doesn't touch the ground.
There is an ice skating anime though.
And that was years ago. I'm sure they could figure out how to animate skating by now.
That's not how skating works at all....
I just looked up an episode as well to see how it looks in that and it's worse....
These people would be cracking heads open on the ice if they actually tried to skate like that in real life.

Bleh, I still feel like it's doubtful they'll make a hockey anime though. Hockey in general is a clusterfuck of a sport.
Would be a nightmare to story board.
