That's a great idea. Not.
See, there's a problem to this. I told you that Dec 21st marked the end of the 4th world and the start of the 5th, according to the Mayan calendar. But, most people only know about the ending of one world. They have no knowledge of the fact that the Mayan calendar is indeed a cycle and that a "new world" would begin. So, the disasters that happened in the last decade (tsunamis, earthquakes, snowstorms, nuclear meltdowns, whatnot) are inferred as premonition of simply the end of the world, but with no suggestion that a "new world" would be born after that. In short, people only got half of the story, "Mayans foresaw the end of the world in 2012." Most people, who just hear these things from others, just never read into the fact that the Mayan calendar is complicated than... just ending on December 21, 2012.
I don't really know much about what's going on in Egypt other than there has been multiple uprisings in the Middle East in general, like Egypt, Syria, and the such. I've heard more on Syria than anything recently, though a while ago there was quite a bit on Egypt going haywire. But... I guess what I mean with people trying to end the world on Dec 21 is that... instead of the world ending on its own, it is people inducing that. Bombings, shootings, riots, whatnot. People try to end the world instead. Instead of the earth going kabloom (or however it decides to die; it could go with a whimper), somebody drops a bomb on New York and make it go mushroom cloud, or something extreme like that. Or, in a more local perspective, since I doubt anyone has the power to drop a bomb just to "end the world", some kid brings a gun to school and starts shooting everyone, saying that the world is ending. So yeah, I guess I mean riots, crazy people, and the such. Riots out of control, etc.
Well... this kind of goes into human nature. Are we naturally evil or naturally good? Are we naturally chaotic or naturally lawful? And, sadly, aside from all that, human nature can be affected by the bandwagon effect.
That said, I was on TV... when I was like in first grade.
