I haven't read (leisurely)... in forever. @_@ Like the last time I read leisurely was like middle school.
Uhhh...
I don't know. I mostly read like children's novels.
And I don't remember half the titles. Like... I have to go look at my bookshelf (which is on the other side of the house). xD
I can say what the stories were about, but this is hilarious... I cannot remember the titles for my life. @_@
Titles I do remember:
The Door Within Trilogy by Wayne Thomas Batson
Guardians of Ga'Hoole by what'shernameLasky (only first 6 books; it just got extremely crappy after that)
The Faerie Wars Chronicles by J. H. Brennan (which I never finished; I should)
Artemis Fowl
Dragon Rider by that German author who wrote the Ink-trilogy and the Thief Lord.
Bootleg by Alex Shearer... was it? AKA Chocolate Underground.
Suzumiya Haruhi (<- lolyes)
To be honest, I don't have "favourite" books. I just have books I like and books I don't like as much. Trying to choose a favourite book is like trying to choose my favourite character in I11: impossible. (Even a set doesn't work. I just start listing all of them.)
Read while spamming on Dats, it's what I do sometimes. Honestly, if I didn't read I wouldn't be able to cope. Everything goes away when I read and all I see in my mind's eye is the adventures of the characters in the books (and occasionally the overpowered original characters I insert when I'm bored). It's bliss~
I read about half that list, the stuff is decent for the age group it's aimed at.
Honestly, if you liked those books you might like Discworld, although I've only read the books involving the Watch. Dragons, Vampires, Werewolves, Trolls (although their trolls are a bit different....), Golems, Wizards, Witches, Assassins, whatever stuff that was in the books I haven't read yet, and a healthy dose of British humor. It's awesome.
I find my favorite books by chosing the ones I liked the best. After reading the amount of books I have, you get to be able to distinguish the really amazing from the good.
