You know the term "Otaku" seems to be about the equivalent of the "n" word when it's used to refer to nerds. Claiming to be an Otaku in front of Japanese natives is probably not a good idea then....

Dammit, I like getting strange reactions out of people, now I want to go up to a group of Japanese tourists (they are very easy to find in Philadelphia, especially around independence hall and teh liberty bell) and say, "I'm an Otaku, bitch!" (may or may not use that last word, it is fun to use for emphasis sometimes.....) and then run away. Of course I would have a friend record the whole thing. I really want to do it now.....

In Japanese, no words start with "n". So who ever use a word ended with "n", he/she lost the game.
