The Spectacular Spider-Man animated series

It premiered this morning on Kids' WB, and I love it.

The animation style's pretty strange, and it's definitely catering to the toddler crowd, but the webslinger's inner monologues are still top-notch and the action scenes were incredibly fast-paced. They even used the Enforcers!

My favorite line: "The Amazing Spider-Man, reduced to sneaking around for his shoes!"

I missed it by a minute! My sister was watching ABC Kids and I didn't keep track of time...so was it really that good?

They introduced the Lizard today. This one surprisingly looked a lot tougher than the Fox Kids one back in the day. This one didn't say anything, though, so Spider-Man really had to sling the one-liners. The only thing I couldn't understand is why Peter would publish those pictures knowing everyone would see him as a huge jerk thinking he "ran away". Now he's out of a job - albeit a non-paying job.

WHAT?! New spidey show?! I wanna see it! I'm still stuck with the nineties version (still the best version IMO).
