The quick & dirty of why Rocknote was banned

Here's a list of things that led to Rocknote being banned.

Trivial, I said I could write an essay - never did I promise I would. So you can STFU.

1) Rocknote spammed. The spamming did NOT stop after the 1 week ban. It just went down in numbers.
2) Rocknote ban evaded over that time. Look up the user account "Spammer" - that was Rocknote.
3) Rocknote was continually rude to Zelsius, pawitp, Vande, and myself. (AKA the full admins!)
4) Rocknote refused to listen to the rules regarding art posting.
5) Rocknote argued against any rule that he had been breaking beforehand, and refused to listen to them.
6) Rocknote continually harassed Emi as both a Super Moderator and a user.
7) Rocknote refused to listen to ANYTHING Emi had to say after she became a Super Moderator
Rocknote used the SocialGroups forums to spam and insult.


Her ban was originally one year. It was extended because when I attempted to talk to Rocknote (There was a possibility of it being lifted) he was a complete and utter asshole to me.

Rocknote was never a very good member. Rocknote did NOT understand the meaning behind "No" and refused to accept it.

You can't forget all the times Rocknote would reply to a post just because of one or two words in it and completely object all of it and attack the version just because they thought differently. Talk about failing to accept other people's opinions.

EDIT : I won't bring this matter to the public level of DATS anymore
Anything related to this should be discussed privately with the related Staffs, i think. For avoiding this problem to be erupted again within Members

I know Rocknote said some harsh things but what I dont get is that you guys actually had an idea what he was saying.

Is it possible to hide posts after a user is banned? Because I keep seeing posts by a crossed-out Rocknote and it just makes me uncomfortable. (Not because I'm a rule-breaker too, but because I just don't feel comfortable with the memory of someone bad staying on the forum.)

It is possible, but it won't happen. Hiding all posts by a banned user would disrupt some threads and leave others empty (at least in this case). I do understand your discomfort, but it's just not practical on a forum with discussion threads.
