[REQ] Movie/Music software

This is a bit wierd for me as I don't know if this even exists but, does anybody know of a converter that can change a movie file (avi. etc) into a music file (mp3/4). I've been thinking of making a mix of music but I don't know any music mixers either. I'm more after the first.

Adobe Premiere can rip out the Mp3 FROM an AVI by just deleting the actual movie part to it. T'is a handy as heck program for that and making music vids.

It cost money =\ Just thought I stick that out there...

Aside from that, I would just search google until you can find a good one =\

to get the music from a video you have to rip the music stream off of the video. Its not a conversion at all also mp3 is an audio container but mp4 is a media container (both audio and video)

Aside from that Virtual Dub can rip the stream out of your file so long as you have the appropriate codec. Its just selecting the start and end times and ripping or saving the whole music track out of the file itself and ripping/joining what you need with a program like audacity.

both programs are free and opensource.

If your looking to make video virtual dub can work too for avis its just cutting/joining the frames you want and then muxing in your custom audio track.

any idea where to get it?

www.adobe.com

Just make an account for the site. The download is free for 14 days then you need the serial number.

Just a warning, remember that illegal computer content such as software, is NOT to be posted here.

So if you post a keygen or something to that extent it'll be against the rules.

and again for his needs there are free alternatives that are easily searched for and obtained. I hate to backseat mod but this whole thread is like a request for illegal software ~_~

The only other free vid stuff I've seen is either 14 day only software, puts a stupid watermark on it or only does about three - five minutes of a vid, then stops >.<

I got my copy of Premiere through the college I went to for like.. $10. I'm not -that- bad >_>

If you're confident you can play back the video without any lag/pauses, just get a free audio recording/editing software (I recommend Audacity), set it to record, and play the video. Boom, audio from the video, all set up to crop/edit.
