Luna and Subaru are arguably close. While Luna denies it at the beginning, she has a bit of a crush on him. She has a lil' ol' crush on him. That is so. Subaru being Rockman starts her feelings towards him, but she eventually likes Subaru for who he is. Eventually.
It's a bit of a better reason than the "Roll" reason.
