I haven't even looked at the new stuff.
Just sequels of shows that I liked / kind of liked / hated but would continue watching / etc.
Kuroko no Basuke S2 (yesss)
Infinite Stratos S2 (half decent; enough to make me watch a sequel)
Freezing Vibration (I DUNNO WHY I WATCHED THE FIRST SEASON. IT...
Yeah. My dad probably helped my brother with his first computer (we're talking pre-95 here), but then, the stuff he does with a computer doesn't require him to really keep up with all that's going on. So he kind of fell behind? That's why I said he can figure it out given enough time.
It's just...
My mom is capable of using her old flip phone just fine. Makes calls. Receive calls. Adds people to her quick dial list.
I mean.
Yeah.
But.
Don't get her near a computer.
Never.
And I'm kind of serious about this. My mom is useless when it comes to modern technology.
My dad... can figure it out. He just starts out confused and eventually forces his way around. At least, give him time and he'll understand how to do stuff.
My parents would never understand how to text. Or even use a smartphone without causing a nuclear explosion somewhere.
I mean. My mom barely knows how to use a DVD player (she's better at the VCR, not much better though). She knows how to turn on the TV, but don't ask her to change channels...
Basically, if I need it for communications, I do have alternatives.
Otherwise, not worth the 323456456 dollars a month for it.
Our family's cell phone plan is still phone only.
No text. No data.
It's kind of silly, actually.
Is it?
I don't find it a necessity?
I survived without it.
I mean, I can text people through Gmail. I'm on my computer enough for that.
I also can "text" people through Google Talk on my droid. If I ever turn on the WiFi on that damn thing.
