The second guy I talked to at customer service, I just went screw it and basically threw it at them that the issues are linked very closely to the harddrive. :( Instead of pretending to not know what the fuck is going on.

The fact that the customer service originally noted the problem as a noisy fan was fucking idiotic. When I near flat out told them it was an issue with the harddrive. Last I checked, a noisy fan can't cause freezing.

The fact that the entire computer will seize up because the harddrive wouldn't spin back up is even more so.

The fact that my harddrive would random spin down in the MIDDLE of a file transfer is ridiculous.
