Though, I'm still not entire fond of the Rapid Release concept.

Where stable is stable. beta is mostly stable. developer is updated one or two times a week and is just a summary of good nightly builds. while nightly is nightly.

It's not like the Chromium project which flat out lists which channel is which.

But then again, I could be wrong regardless, since I'm too lazy to look into it.

There has to be an offset, or else the Aurora channel would be the same as nightly, but with fancier features.

So, the nightly channel is literally nightly new stuff. Aurora channel is probably, "Oh hey, yesterday's nightly stuff worked. Let's add it to Aurora."

Acctually now that I look at it, Developer is Alpha 2. Nightly is Alpha 1.

I'll just go into beta and alpha land.

I would prefer stable ZIPs, but they don't offer those anymore, so whatever?

Like I'm only doing it now, because I want a more up-to-date alternative than what's available. And is taking advantage of various loopholes.

Looking through mozilla ftps is a weird thing I used to do more frequently than I should (especially for someone who only ever sticks with stable releases back then).

Yeah, I'm sticking with Developer just for aesthetics.

But I also like the Aurora logo and theme. :|

If the profile system works as well as it should, it should be an easy replacement.

Beta updates less often than Developer. As is significantly more stable.

Oh! Fx Beta also offers ZIPs.

But Dev updates are daily so far. I mean Nightly source is continuous update, so not really nightly, but it is compiled nightly based on updates made throughout the day, if I recall correctly.

I thought Dev updates less often as Nightly?

I'm not sure why I'm using Developer.
