I made cake with almond meal today, and was better than most I've had in a while. But a bit too much on the heavy side.

It doesn't rise well with yeast, and even worse with baking powder/soda.

So I need to experiment with combinations, especially since almond meal is really really efficient in this regard, but makes the dough far too heavy.

However, the issue is most of the recipes involving them on the internet are overshadowed by Paleo/Grainless results. These are useless to me as I want to figure out combinations of gluten free grains and almond/coconut that taste alright and retain moisture so the bread and cake I make don't...

Gluten free stuff has issues retaining moisture. Almond meal and Coconut flour help in this matter.

Note to self: Acquire coconut flour and test the effect of making almond meal finer on cakes and bread.

Cool yes. Fun, not as much. Old airplanes are not as easy to work on as modern ones and require almost constant maintenance.

This job has never suited me, but it's really the only option I have currently.

I spend more time running around looking up parts in blueprints than I do actually entering data. Which is almost fun sometimes.

It's not like general data entry at least, where you are given a list of stuff to enter and you soullessly enter that. For this I am given an aircraft part. I need to find the part number, a description for it, and the correct bin for it (if it's british, I need to find out it's reference...

And apparently I'm the only one that understands how the damn software (which is a temperamental piece of shit) works.

My job at the airport has basically turned into data entry....

I'm glad I was able to secure that modchipped PS2 from @Lige though, since it's a Japanese only game and the PS2 was region locked.

Honestly not the biggest mecha anime fan, but I love this game so much. They put so much care into making the damn mechs like the show and the controls and handling are so perfect. Though that leads to very big balance issues in balance issues in multiplayer....
