You can miss with a 99% hit rate and you're facing the enemy's back. HOW THE HELL DO YOU MISS WITH A 99% HIT RATE THREE TIMES?? The game is rigged :< But that's okay. As long as I can train mah Seer. :>

And yes, Blue mages are a chore. You need a special beastmaster, make sure it hits the blue mage, etc. Mine only knows Night so far. :<

I never really used Fencers. Mostly Assassins, Ninjas, and the occasional Sniper. Broken classes ftw.
And let me tell you, Fencer character portraits got manlier. Yes that's right, manlier. >_>

Every enemy you kill doesn't leave a corpse, instead, they disappear and you get loot. You use this loot for mission items, or the bazaar. You go to a shop and select loot to make new weapons available in the shop. :> The rank weapon you can make in the shop currently is indicated by a yellow/orange circle. When you get FFTA2, it'll all be explained. :>

Forgot to mention something. No more random battles walking around, and you recruit units differently now. You wait a certain month, for a certain area, and unlocking certain areas.

Well, this is my opinion. (I was a rabid FFTA fan, so yeah.)
YES. Well, yeah, pretty much. New visuals, new classes (some jobs you have to unlock via missions, but that's okay with me.) more missions,etc. Benched members get AP too now.
The only bad things are the laws and maybe the storyline. I like the "story" so far though. The laws like "No knockback" and "No harming seeqs/females/etc" anger me though. :< I didn't have too much trouble though. Half the fun is finding loopholes :>

Oh, also, I like the bazaar system. :> I don't have to grind to get unlockable weapons anymore, but some people don't liek it.
