Okay, a good chunk of the paper was about the two- and three-position graphical synthesis for four bar mechanisms, but the rest is just me ranting about landing gears and how the dumb four bar we designed as a part of the assignment does not actually meet any of the practical requirements needed out of a landing gear.

To be honest. It's a really simple design problem. And one of the discussion questions was asking about what insights did you gain from researching landing gears. And to be hoenst, the design problem was simplified to the point that you never needed to do any research to do it. It was more or less plug and chug the method taught in class.
So I decided to do some basic research, and did I regret that a little.
The FAA PDF is pretty much a maintenance manual.
Honestly, it seriously showed me how simplified the dumb problem was.
In fact, like the second to last paragraph of my report just talked about how the four bar mechanism design would not really work as is.
