Hatenkou Yugi DVD - why the low quality audio?
I'm confused as to why you would release a 233 MB encode of a DVD quality raw with pretty much the worst possible audio codec you could pick. HE/SBR AAC is intended for simple dialogue/monologue audio such as a lecture or a debate, not anime with a large range of audio frequencies such as screams, sound effects, and music. Sure 70 kbps HE AAC is better than 70 kbps AAC LC... but it's not better than 128 kbps AAC LC.... It gets very distorted in the high frequencies due to the reconstruction of the audio signal (actually to the point where it bothers my ears).
Why have a release with good video quality but crud audio quality? Please consider using at least 128 kbps audio (and NOT SBR...) in your releases... in the meantime I guess I'll have to mux the audio from your xvid release into your h264 release (since 128 kbps mp3 > 70 kbps SBR AAC).
guess I forgot to mention it the first time, but thanks for the release.
