Honorable mention goes to Hunter x Hunter. It got pushed down on the list, because of the fact the arc that got left on (Chimera Ant arc) has gone on for far too long. Another honorable mention is Fruits Basket. It went on too long, imo. I like Sailor Moon's manga too, but I liked Sailor V more, hence why that's on my list as opposed to SM.

Gintama manga is fun, too, but since you need action to go along with humor, I'd rather see it animated.

I also would have said Naruto, but it would have been more for the pretty art, and not its recent content. x[
