Hey DDL uploaders,

Before I start, I'll thank you for taking the time + bandwidth to provide DDL links voluntarily, so thanks!

I have a suggestion to the great DDL uploaders we have here. Since it takes a long time to upload to one site (let alone 2 or more), I thought I'd share some free sites that I've found that will let you upload the file once and put it on 5 or 6 sites.

I'm not affiliated with any of the below sites, but I've used them before with great success.

If I had to pick two, MassMirror uploads to almost all of the DDL sites I see here regularly, and TinyLoad would get MediaFire for you...so if you upload to both, you get 9 DDL sites (11 if you count each MU + RS link, since you'd get two of them).

Maximum: Depends on the hosts you select. Red sites support 1GB max, Blue Sites support 500MB max, Purple sites support 300MB max, Green sites support 100MB max. You can pick and choose your hosts.

Hopefully these sites will be able to help you out! The only downside that I've found is that you can't earn RS points through these sites, but if you don't care about that, they're great, and being able to upload to a lot of sites means less begging for links too.

technically speaking these aint DDLs - a DDL is when you have your host - right click - save as and you get the file. With sites like MU you have to wait for 45 seconds (if not having pre) to get the file before downloading.

That's true, technically speaking they're not DDLs. I was talking in the context of HTTP download vs. Bittorrent. I've seen "Don't request DDL links for 48 hours" in reference to people asking for Megaupload links 5 minutes after episode release on these DATS forums, so I thought the term should be used there (to avoid confusion).

The 48hr thing is to give people chance to do an upload and to stop people begging rather then anything else.

Personally, I've found Badango to the be the best host to be downloading from. I dunno about you guys, but it's personal preference I guess.
