Rewriting the rules

I want to rewrite these to be like, a third (or less!) of the length.

What points do you guys think are important to keep, and what isn't?

However, remember that DATS works as a dictatorship. A select few weild all the power.

No Spam
SPAM is not tolerated on any of the DATS subsites. SPAM is clarified as "Stupid, Pathetic, or Annoying Messages" and encompasses all things that simply don't need to be posted.

Topics in the forums should be kept relatively on topic. Off-topicness is acceptable at an appropriate level, and should be kept to a very low amount. If discussion gets too off-topic, it should be moved to PM or a new thread should be made.

There is a section on the forum for SPAM messages, if one so wishes to use it.

Simplify the definition of SPAM and say that SPAM should be kept to Pages, since there really isn't a spam section.

Trolling + Respect should be like combined. ...and summarized and thrown under general forum rules or something.

Throw advertising under "General Forum Rules".

Basically, the first few section can be compacted into the lists that follow it.

Honestly, anything after General Forum Rules... basically... need to be kept... unless you want to update the release rules.

I'd be fine junking the release rules.

At this point in time, I don't care what people do to our stuff. xD
