Accepting Manga Editor Positions

Ok we are in need of Manga editors who have time on their hands. I've found a page that will be a nice lil test (see attatched pic)

The translation is:

Taichi: I'm Taichi! Nice to meet you.
Zero: ...Hmm, so you're "Taichi"...
Teacher: Hey, not during class!
Taichi: Sorry, but it's time to feed him!
Taichi: Are you sick, too?
Taichi: Let's keep warm and just sleep today.
Zero: Taichi...
Man: Your Monster's not official; it must be a bug, don't you think?
Taichi: What?
Taichi: Don't make fun of Zero!
Zero: Taichi...you're a good guy...

Fonts to use: download em here (fonts are zipped on mediafire)
Taichi = Wild Words
Zero = Wild Words
Man = (just for a laugh) Manga Temple
Teacher = (just for a laugh) Digital Dream Fat Narrow

Edit: Also i forgot to mention - you must level the page making sure the blacks are pure black and whites pure white.

When you want to apply post your worked on version.
Oh yes photoshop or similar is essentital (no ms paint!)

nice looking work that Hagaren i will suggest that you work on a bit of redrawing (in the 2nd right pic) you can see where you edited the stuff around Taichi's hair.

But besides that i think it's good (kicks other editors)

I agree, you erased a little bit too much of Taichi's hair.

All you need to do is be careful on how you erase, zoom in if you think you have to or make the eraser smaller.

I would work for you Vande, but i have my hands full with Subbing.

Hagaren, that's way better than my first attempt at scanlating, but just level the blacks on Taichi first before redrawing and it should be fine ^^
New scanlators are always welcome =D
Oh, and Manga Temple really fits that guy XD

if the hair edit goes well you're in and we'd have a V-Tamer chapter lined up for you :) (aka Rein is going to release V-57 as he has enough to do)

Hey, thanks for all the commments, everyone! I fixed Taichi's hair, so, well, here it is.

Assuming you like how it looks, I look forward to working with you! I shall do my best! When is my first paycheck? =D

True...i didnt notice it before... If you cant draw well with mouse use the polygonal lasso tool (this is only if the place you want to re-draw is ment to be filled with color,like here). The other way that I use to redraw,especially in the 2 pages that must be joined together,i use the line tool to make the line-art.

look how Taichi's hair normally is in the bed, the down bit of his hair on the down curve of him "juggling the pen" is obvious with no white border around it.
