Just to add something in about たち... It can also be used for something like "___ and co." or "___ and the others" まさるたち (Masaru-tachi - yay Savers) was used a couple times throughout the series, and it had various translations like "Masaru and the group" or even to the point of "Our heroes"

I dunno if you'd say necesito over tengo que :P But anyways... from what I know of Japanese verbs... you don't have to conjugate them like you do in other languages. The plain ole dictionary form is considered the informal version of the masu form.

One of the most effective ways of teaching is through music... that's why you have songs all the time =P Mineral, I believe. Though I think it can refer to both.

La Corda de Oro... lol, she didn't know what corda meant? I think it's a music-centric word, so maybe she just isn't a musical person. I believe there is another word for twine-type string... but don't quite me on that. :)

I don't know about l33t, but I know Spanish can be slanged up. Porke todos estan LAZY~ Spanish kids don't use accents, and they change "que" to "ke" >_> It's really confusing for a kid that's trying to learn the language. XD I printed out some lyrics that were written in Spanish slang...

You have the kanji lyrics anywhere? I can't translate it myself, but working from actual Japanese is a lot easier, I know.

For such limited resources, that was pretty good. Agreed, the kick was awesome. :D I thought the evos worked pretty well for the pre-vocal part. But they got kinda boring as the song went on and they kept apearing.

Oh... I mean when they're at the end of a word. Like in the other thread, you use わっ for "Wah!" The only time I would know to use the little tsu is for a double letter... やった (yatta)

[Japanese] Long vowels question Woo... a question that's kinda bugged me off and on throughout my year of Japanese. When we learned how to extend vowels, we learned the hiragana way: ああ えい いい おう うう And then in katakana, you just add a ー after the vowel アー エー イー オー ウー However...
