Catalyst uses a driver to check what your system is. It's impossible to install things with Catalyst in safe mode.

That's not bad I guess. I could possibly manage that.

Yeah, Catalyst black screened in the middle of installing drivers and like a stupid fuck I shut down my computer. Turns out you're supposed to let it sit for two hours then shut it off. If only I knew now what I knew then.

You're not useless. It would probably be a while before I can go though too, at least two years. I probably would be able to drive by then, so I could get a rental car at the airport and use that to get to the con. There being no trains isn't that big a deal. No idea how much rental cars cost...

I actually figured that out. I reset my CMOS manually and it started working again. Now it just gives me black screens right before the log-in screen, and nothing I does fixes that. Safe mode at least works, but my computer is pretty much done working normally.

Well, I think I just killed my computer trying to install a new graphics card. Something with the drivers has made it get stuck on the bios logo.

Are there any trains to the city there? And if I were to go to Gencon I'd end up going all days, it's not really worth flying down just for one day.

Really? That would make things a lot easier. Though I'd still have to drop $300+ on a flight probably....

    Sorry, I killed Pages

My one problem is that Gencon is 10-ish hours from me. I'd have to save a lot of money to go to it, especially since I wouldn't have anyone to split costs for a hotel room. I need to get better at make/saving money....

I might actually try to go to Gencon someday. It's pretty much 100% relevant to my interests. And I could cosplay MtG stuff.

I think it's mostly games? Like MtG sort of stuff. At least thats what I keep hearing about it.

Though seeing as it costs $30 for the train to New York I probably would be just as well off if I ordered online. I buy 5 volumes at a time usually, so it's pretty much the same amount of money as if I would of just ordered it online.

I go to Book-Off for used manga Japanese series that I can't get in english since Sun-Ken Rock, The Breaker, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, and Aiki are probably never going to get brought over. I have pretty much an 1/8 of HSDK already. It costs 5-ish bucks for used manga that might as...

Probably, but I like supporting HSDK.

Philadelphia has some really cool places. There's The Franklin Institute which is a really cool old science museum thing, among a with bunch of old historic sites and a nice art museum. There is also New York, but it's not fun as unless you mind fighting crowds. It's sort of worth it for the...

I'm tall, I hit my head on things a lot because our house wasn't meant for people of my height. That sort of stuff adds up over time apparently. Not a hundred percent sure it's what's going on though, gonna have to go to a doctor. I hate doctors....
