Yeah. I'm pretty much trapped on this island that is my house. There is a side walk behind my house that can take me to the mall (an hour and a half walk if I really try one way) or the train station (45 minutes walk which isn't that bad if a tad dangerous because there's no side walks in...

HEY.

We don't have a block, we live on a 2 acre property right on the edge of a very busy road with a ditch for water drainage instead of a side walk. The only way to walk around here is in the road, and that would be the equivalent of suicide.

How does one make friends that aren't all half an hour away?
