That and Steam and Origin means pretty much all of my games are one short download away from me playing them again instead of having to find the damn CD/DVDs and install them all over again, and most of the saves are online too.
Keeping all my music on an external drive is one of the best ideas I've ever had. Every time my computer has died (which is a lot) it's always perfectly safe and I don't have to worry about dling it all again.
So, it turns out can't activate Windows 7 OEM version unless it's on a fresh hardrive.
Gonna have to nuke my hard drive after I transfer anything I find of any importance onto the my external drives. Which is thankfully very little.
It's weird. I ordered my Power Source for my computer, and it shipped immediately and it's already on it's way to be delivered.
It says 5-7 business days, but it's been 2. What sorcery is this?
That being said, I could still buy two copies of Windows 7 OEM for the price of one copy of the full version
Seeing as I don't intend to replace the motherboard for a few years, and it hopefully last bit longer this might actually be cheaper in the long run....
OEM version is much cheaper, but if my motherboard ever dies, I'd have to buy a new version of windows.
Normally I'd just risk it, but with my computer failure is always an option, so I'm hesitant to risk it....
