So there are 14 - are they all split into different series? (such as first 3 deal with so much, next 3 deal with next part) etc?

There are two another books, The Authorised Ultimate Deltora Quiz Book and How to Draw Deltora Monsters.
And, BTW, Deltora Shadowlands and Dragos of Deltora are US publisher's invention. Originaly in Australia, the series are called simply Deltora Quest II and Deltora Quest III respectively. Not that it matters so much, but its nice to know all information, isn't it?

Ah. So that's why I didn't recognise what series it was when I saw "Deltora Quest 3 2"... Seems England follows Australia.

There's also another book called "Monsters of Deltora" or "Beasts of Deltora" (can't remember which) and it contains information written in the perspective of Joseph, the Palace Librarian, and it's really interesting. The Tenna Birdsong Tales were quite fun to read too.

Sorry, I was referring to another book when I was talking about the Tenna Birdsong Tales. Opps, sorry for the confusion.

But wouldn't it be awesome if they combined them into a set?

I've read them all. There is three series, and them like two extras that were mentioned. Tales of Deltora and the book about drawing them.

Sad part is..I haven't read the books in YEARS. So it just sorta pops back into my head as I watch the anime...Does anyone know if the anime covers all the books?

yeah i read these as a kid while in like year 5 or so. the first one was read to us by the teacher/librarian during 'library class'. probably cos she's an australian author, and yeah... and a lot of us went off and read them on our own. it was in quite high demand. it became a race to see who could get the books out before everyone else :/

i've read every book except the very last one (the last one from the third series, that is.) never could find that one. :(

excellent books though. you can easily digest one book a day, i think.

i should get back into it... or should i just read the last book?
