Reminds me of my ankle which still hurts after i scrapped a layer of skin (not enough to bleed thankfully) off when trying tp jump over seats in a lecture hall.
It still hurts, and i scrapped it like two three weeks ago.
skin deep injuries are the most painful with all them nerve endings.
also this paper cut hurts.
especially when it's on the finger that i type with a lot... ow ow ow

Actually, I am very clumsy, so it's nothing offensive or anything, not that I know the reason you edited that out for.
