Dire need of QC'ers and Karaoke Artists

So we have a lot of projects here at DATS, eh? Way too many. But out of all our projects, we have more than a few that are waiting on karaokes... yes, karaokes! Seriously, what a stupid thing to be waiting on. So if anyone wants to effect some songs for us, please come and help! We already have all the songs ktimed, we just need to get them effected. And I guess if this never happens, we will just go with softsub ktime on the mkv releases... and ugly hardsub ktime on XviD... sucks, right?

So we also need Quality Checkers. We need people who are willing to watch our subs and pick out every single error... and also stick around and maybe join us on IRC! It seems we get all of these random QC'ers, and then they disappear, and one thing that all have in common is that none of them ever joined the staff channel and idled with us!

So yeah... apply for QC! Apply to effect some things! Join us on IRC!

Also, we are still open to anyone who might want to help us translation-wise on any of our projects. So translation and translation check are both welcome

I don't mind helping with QC or TLC. ^^;

Despite recent group drama, I'm still up for TLCing Saru Getchu season 2 if you guys end up doing it.

I can probably do QCing on Mondays or Tuesdays Pacific Time.

Depending on what time I've got during my lunch break (and after my work day's over *waiting for a ride*, I'd be happy to QC what I can)

"Subs are meant for you to read, not to have sex with your eyes". That's what I always say. If the karaoke just gets another color at the right moment, it's fine with me. So if Karaoke is really the only thing you're waiting for, you might as well release it IMO.

For karaokes... I'd say it depends on what series. some series' OPs and EDs kind of need a fun little karaoke (to kind of go with the flow of the animation), while others... look great with simple ktimed ones.

I wish I knew how to effect. ;-;
