That's how I was added originally too. Someone told me to join via a link in Skype.

It's unique to Number AND name. For example, (unlikely) but I could be Lige#1000 and you could be Futamaru#1000, where as if my alias was also Futamaru, you would be same as previous example and I'd get Futamaru#1001 or so. (It doesn't go in order, it's random, but just for example sake)

yeah... there could be 100's of same name, numbers are what make your alias unique. Battle.net uses the same type of system. ϟige#1732 is my discord, but I think my security settings dont let anyone add me if not in same server ;o *is antisocial*
